What is Personal Information?

Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. If we use or store Personal data with information that is non-personal, we will consider the combination as Personal data.

Information we collect and how we use it

Your Email (Optional)

Nizo does not require you to create a user account to use the app.

We may ask you to provide your personal information any time you are in contact with us. Such as when you email us to submit a film, request customer support, or if you sign-up for our newsletter. You are not obligated to provide the information we request. But, if you choose not to do so, most times this means we cannot reach you to respond to your inquiries.

Our email newsletter is optional. We do not add your email to our newsletter database without your consent. You can cancel our newsletter using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter or by emailing us at privacy@nizo.co.

App Analytics (Optional)

We use Apple App Analytics data to help improve the app, and guide product and marketing decisions. The information includes crash reports, statistics such as engagement, app usage by device and region, App Store page views and referral sources. Information is in an anonymous form and does not personally identify you. Information received by Apple is treated in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You may choose not to share crash data and statistics about how you use apps with third-party app developers. To do so, open Settings on your iPhone > Privacy Analytics and turn off Share With App Developers.

We do not use any other app analytics service.

Diagnostic Data (Optional)

Diagnostic Data is not automatically collected or required for the operation of Nizo.

Sometimes we ask for diagnostic reports and other troubleshooting, bug, and crash reports from customers to help identify and solve problems with Nizo. This information is sent to us explicitly on a case by case basis, or by users who explicitly opt into our beta software programs or who otherwise explicitly choose to provide diagnostic data to us. Diagnostic Data may contain sensitive information about your device and personally identifying information. If we ask for Diagnostic Data to assist you with a problem – you are never obligated to provide it.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses Yandex Metrica to store cookies (small text files placed on your device) for analytics. Metrica provides anonymous information about website traffic to help us better understand our customers’ interaction with our website and where to improve the user experience. This information includes analytics such as your browser type, version, operating system, language, screen size, country, and the referring website. The information can not personally identify you.

You can disable cookies in your browser and continue to use our website without impact. You can opt-out from Yandex Metrica data collection by installing the Yandex Metrica opt-out plug-in to your browser.

In our email newsletters, we may use other technologies like “pixel tags” and “click-through URLs” to determine if an email has been opened and which links have been clicked. We use this information to help us determine interest in particular topics and improve our communications. Pixel tags are small images shown inside an HTML email; you can disable tracking by disabling HTML in your email client. A link with a click-through URL, when clicked, first sends the user to a web server which records the click, and then to the link’s destination. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages.
